Beautiful - and environmental disaster
The lake and it's surroundings are beautiful - and at the same time an einvironmental disaster. Untreated sewage, garbage left by the visitors. One is not sure if it's luck that the road leading there is unmissable for normal cars - would more visitord make the things just worse

Hiden gem
The most famous mountains of Bosnia over 2000 m in hight are hiding this jewel lake in a shape of eye, which is on over 1600 m hight. There is a legend going around about this lake. Saraunding is so pristine and very hard to find nova days. You can have Bosnian coffee, soft drink or meal which will be prepared in the old traditional way in special wooden oven called 'sach'. The popular meals are pies called 'pita' ( all sorts), bread, fish or for hungry group you can order the whole lamb for spit. You can even choose lamb! Whether here is unpredictable so you should be prepared for sun, wind, rain and snow which can suprise you in hot moths. To arrive to the lake, be prepared to drive 22 km on unsealed road unless you take tour to the Prokoško lake. People do not stay here over winter months. They are moving to the villages on the bottom of these mountains. For car entry expect to pay 10 km ( 5 Euro) and 2 km per person.
