Tito's Yugoslavia was born here
In this building on November 29th, 1943 the "new" Yugoslavia was born (the previous or "old" one was a kingdom). That date later became the most important holiday in socialist Yugoslavia and a magnificent celebration was being performed every year in Belgrade to its tribute. Today in the museum we can still see some furniture and photos of that time. When you enter to the main hall you can somehow feel the atmosphere of 1943. Definitely worth a visit if you pass by.

Definitely worth a visit
The museum is located to the side of the waterfall, and close to the town's main car park and bus station. It summarises the beginnings of the uprisings against Nazi forces in World War 2 throughout the territory of Yugoslavia, and focuses on the 2nd AVNOJ Summit, held in the building in November 1943. The entry price (2KM for adults, both June 2012 and Aug 2013) is reasonable, and there is adequate information in English inside for those who do not speak the local language. The museum is small, and should not take more than 20 minutes to visit. There is also a small bookshop.

A small museum but still interesting
It's a very small museum, just one room to be exact but as long as you're already there, it's OK to take a look. It's basically a hall where the Republic of Yugoslavia was formed by Tito and his partisans during WWII. So there you can see some artifacts from all of the Yugoslav republics from that time. It's not impressive but still interesting especially if you're from this area.
