    Located in a well preserved 19th century mansion, the site is a virtual museum. Includes a small gift shop/book store with items relating to the history of the city and the Lizzy Borden case. Staff is courteous and knowledgeable. For a nominal fee you are led through the main parts of the house, highlighting the art, furnishings, and architecture. One room contains the largest collection of Lizzie Borden related material in existence. It's truly a step back in time to 19th century Fall River. Well worth the visit. See more..

    I went here a few times during my recent visit to the area. It is a fantastic old school type of museum with countless beautiful ship models, and other artifacts; all tastefully displayed. There was even a lecture about shipwrecks that I attended, and brought one of my diving helmets to. I think that this is a wonderful museum, which is conveniently located near world famous Battleship Cove. If you visit Battleship Cove, then please take the time out to visit this museum too.
