Big little city

Great little city with a lot of history. They have an aqueduct from Roman times. Walk to restaurants, historical sites, shops and attractions. The palace can be seen inside and you can climb to the tower. Very nice people and restaurant staff. Truly enjoyed our stay.

Much more interesting than we had imagined
Plasencia is the 4th largest city in Extremadura but may well have more charm than the first three. The architecture around the plaza mayor is like a some kind of architectural sampler. Almost every building is a different design, style or colour and yet the eclectic appearance really works. The only downside to Plascencia was the number of people hitting us up for money. We had not experienced that in any other Extremaduran town or city. You might want to eat indoors if you don't wish to be bothered.

    Nice small town
On our way back from Salamanca to Seville, we decided to stop at Plasencia. It’s a small town that one can be able to visit in just a few hours. Nice walls, historic aqueduct, and some old cute streets.
