Fascinating

The museo has it all---an ancient Moorish? cistern, archaeological treasures, an El Greco or two, a Miro, tiny peaceful garden.

    Definitely not to be missed
Well organised, with some amazing BC exhibits, and a terrific cistern! There was a wonderful photographic exhibition when we visited and we were completely blown away by the exhibits. When we said we were English, we got free entry! So even better!!

    Excellent
1.20 euro entry fee (or free for over 65s and EU residents) is a small price to pay for such an enjoyable experience. It is well laid out with helpful staff and especially strong on prehistoric and Roman era finds from the Extremadura area. The only criticism is that more English translations in the descriptions would be helpful for non-Spanish visitors.
