Silversmithing Museum, Epirus, Greece

Nice little museum about the history of Ioannana silversmithing

Compact museum with specific focus and thoughtfully laid-out exhibits, Our favorite parts were those focusing on the process of refining and working with silver. Other parts of the museum are dedicated to showcasing silver objects and tracing the history of the silver trade. We are a family of 5 (2 adults + 3 kids) and we all found something to interest us here. All explanations are in Greek and English.

This interactive experience was fantastic and it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
It was a great interactive experience. This building is really impressive and the way the exhibition is laid out is so thoughtful that it is really impressive. As a result of touching the tools and understanding how they worked, we were able to get a better understanding of what they do.

Very beautiful and informative small museum.
The entance was free with the ticket for the byzantyne museum (i100 m) . Very glad we got time to visit (about 0,5 hour). The region has been famous for its silver and they have a very nice and varied collection. Also good explanations about the different methods used to make the silver objects.
