Very easy trail

I tend to park on the Encamp side driving up turning right at the roundabout underneath the Funicamp lift. The walk to the lake is then a couple of Km going through tunnel. What is great about this walk is the fact that for most of the winter you can still hike here even when there is a lot of snow as it’s flat and easy access. So it’s easy particularly if you take the alternative and come up from Engolasters. Quite pretty perfect for young families

    Nice place to visit for relaxing.
    Restaurent Llac I Cel will serve you on terrasses to enjoy the place after your trekking ... New owner, you can return to that traditional place created in 1975 ! Tapas, bocadillos Beer, cozy, tee, ... Or local cook Catalan I Andorran

    Easy walking terrain
    The are very few walks in Andorra are easy and this in one of the few ones that are as it’s relatively flat. Lovely views good exercise on the flat . It can be walked all year BUT in the winter you need micro crampons as it’s icy . The best end to walk from is the Encamp end which takes longer to get to the lake . If you jus want to see the lake access via Escaldes-Engordany
