Superb museum and outstanding tour guide in Ibrahim who escorted my father and I around the exhibits. The VC-10 aircraft was particularly of significance as my father last flew it when it was with East African Airways EAA. Thanks again and highly recommended whenever you visit the UAE or live in the region.

    Hidden gem of an aviation museum
    As someone who works in aviation, I was very impressed by this gem of a museum. For enthusiasts, there are not many other places to see parts of a de Havilland Comet or a Vickers VC-10. Great exhibits on Imperial Airways' stopovers in Sharjah and Air Arabia today, but I was most surprised by the section on how aircraft fly--it compared various aspects to what we see in nature and birds, insects, etc. Really well assembled for a topic I would normally skip over. Of note: parking inside the gate is free!
