Hazar Sea is well known but we have Hazar lake close to Elazig and Keban dam. Like all water sites in the world, view and facilities around lake is beatiful. Why dont you feel it?

    Picturesque lake about 30 minutes' drive from Elazig
    We stopped off at this lake on our drive (on the 885) from Elazig to Nemrut Dagi. There are plenty of parking spots just off the road which include picnic tables (some with shade). We also noticed three hotels beside the lake (that we'd have booked if we'd been aware of them, rather than stopping in Elazig). The lake looks like a great place for families with pedalos and swimming being options near to some of the hotels. We found a small number of birds in the area which included Armenian Gull, European Bee-eater and Short-toed Eagle.

    Very nice view
    Very nice view but there is not any good restaurant near the lake so bring your own drinks and food. Accommodation near the lake is very limited, There are only couple of low level hotels which are closed in winter season.
