Augustów Canal, Eastern Poland, Poland

4.5 (72 reviews) Spent Ranking #1 in Podlaskie Province Bodies of Water

Great way to spend a relaxing couple of hours

Recently visited Augustow Canal. Had a great boat trip lasting 2 hours taking you from the port through lakes and the lock. Beautiful scenery and nature and impressive going through the lock as the boat has only a small clearance. There was a commentary in Polish only but hey we were in Poland anyway. The guide also entertained on the return leg with a few songs which was nice. Crew helpful and friendly. Snacks , drinks and souvenirs are available on the boat at reasonable price. Good value for money..

    Great Canal Trip
We went on one of the boats through the lakes and we went through a lock into another. It as a really nice trip apart from the jet skis and the stop off was good although you do not get a lot of time to look around [20 minutes]. But well worth it and get there early and under cover at the top of the boat as it does get hot [unless you are on a lower deck]
