Komodo : The Jurassic Island.
I love every single minute I spent in Komodo. We saw 15 to 20 wild Komodo Dragons. Some of them are huge, 10 feet long. We got to see a very active Komodo digging a Bird's nest, a shy baby Komodo hiding behind a tree and many too lazy to move cold-blooded Dragons. It really is an experience of a life time. This place reminds me of Hollywood Monster Animal-themed movies like Jurassic Park, Lake Placid, Sharknado or Anaconda. Thrilling and exciting. Entrance fee is IDR200K for locals and IDR600K for foreigners. I'll be back.

A good opportunity to see Komodo dragons
We took the hour long trail in the National Park on a well made path. We saw about half a dozen dragons, small and medium in size. Our guide also showed us the dragons nest and pointed out things along the way. We asked about seeing larger dragons and our guide told us these would be on higher ground where the vegetation is thicker. When we returned to the area just behind the beach we saw several more including the largest we saw on the island. Although we were told it was not guaranteed to see them, we were pleased that we did.

Visit on a weekday and it's awesome
I would recommend going during the week, when there are fewer people; weekend visitors from Jakarta can overwhelm the place. We did see one huge Komodo dragon that was literally surrounded by around 200 tourists; luckily we went for a short hike with our assigned nature guide and found 2 others randomly walking around, with no tourists in sight. Just magical.
