A place to visit until 15:00. The house had a lot of corners which are from the year of the construction. The ticket was €5 and the tour guide knows a lot of information and they will give shoes protection for the upper level. There is a cafe under the trees in the garden of Mohamed Ali's house but due to the covid period is closed.

    History speaks through the walls
    A lot of people confuse the house with Mohammad Ali (the boxer), thinking that is his. Well Mahhamad Ali was Turkish leader through the Ottoman Empire years. The house is situated on a hill that offers stunning views. Rooms still have the original hardwood floor and pieces of fabric that back in the dates were color with blueberries and other fruits. There was a women's room, guard room, his personal room, etc. The house is two floors and really big yard. The museum has closed part of the yard that is not visible to tourists but you can peek a little through it and see some of the stunning views outside:) They even have lokum (traditional Turkish desert) as soon as you walk up upstairs. Definitely a must see while in Kavala. The museum opens at 10am.

    The House of Muhammad ALi
    Spirit of old Kavala from Ottoman times. Detailed info about years Muhammad Ali spent in Kavala and his life afterwards. Wonderful garden where you can take greek coffee and relax under the shadows of trees.
