Merzouga Activities Camp
Merzouga is the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dune. It's a really beautiful and unique experience. I really recommend sleeping at Merzouga Activities Camp, the place is located very close to the dunes, it has a very personal feeling and it is very nice. The price is very reasonable, the place is clean, breakfast and dinner were very good, the staff is very helpful and nice. In the evening they play music by the fire, they organized us a sunset camel trip, a half day excursion with a jeep around the area. They gave us a great and welcoming feeling. first experience
We booked our one night desert trip with camels in our riad Mamouche. They were fantastic! Watching the sunset and sunrise, sandboarding and driving a quad, playing drums and dancing after dinner in the desert was something to remember for life. But have in mind that Merzouga desert is quite small (you always see or hear other camps), so if you want more time and peace, go to Zagora desert.
