Great lunch!
My husband and I stopped by their wine bar for a Saturday afternoon lunch. It was a delightful meal with very attentive service and excellent food. We enjoyed the meatballs and the cold smoked duck, both of which come with several thin pieces of excellent baguette, as well as three glasses of different wines between us. Prices aren’t cheap, but they are in line with Door Co. and reflective of the high quality of the food and wine. Incidentally, we happened to be there when the wedding party of 14 dropped in (they left a nasty review below.) It’s a small place (as is the tasting room); of course they can’t accommodate that many people without notice. Don’t let that deter you from visiting.

The Best Wines in Door County
I can't believe I'm doing this - because it will increase the foot traffic - but I highly recommend Stone's Throw Winery when you are visiting Door County. The grapes predominately come from Napa Valley, but the magic comes from the vintner. These wines are very delicious! Michael poured our tastings. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about the grapes, wine, and can suggest suitable food pairings. Spend a moment looking around the tasting room: It is a small converted dairy barn, decorated to look like a wine celler. Try as we might, we cannot leave without buying some wines to bring home. When you visit, leave some extra time to visit Vino! Vino! - the wine bar & small plates portion of the building.
