    Impressive theater performance!
This was our second time at the Peninsula Players Theater. We saw the musical, "Murder for Two", in which two actors do the entire murder mystery - one plays the detective and the other plays all the suspects. It was so well performed, with voice and gait changes for each suspect. It was funny and entertaining and I highly recommend it. The theater is on the lake in a beautiful setting. Since the temperature outside was mid 50's, they had a fire pit going until the doors opened at 6:30 pm. The only downside to this theater is that they kept the back doors and vents open to the outside, which made the inside mid-50's as well. We were warned well ahead of time by the box office and came prepared with jackets and lap blankets. With so many people in the theater, we really didn't need the blankets. They have an outside bar, but we didn't want drinks outside and they aren't allowed inside. If you get a chance to see a play here, you won't regret it. The acting is superb and makes for an enjoyable evening.

    Amazing Setting - Disappointing Play
The beauty of the setting for Peninsula Players is stunning. The ability to walk close to the bay and watch the sunset before watching the performance is always a treat.... especially on a beautiful fall evening. I've been to Peninsula Players for more than 40 years and have never been disappointed - until Murder for Two. The actors were wonderful but the play itself was silly. I was with a group of four people and we were all ready to walk out at about he 30 minute mark we were so totally bored. This was the first bad experience for all of us. We'll all go back as the experience has always been wonderful. This play was just very disappointing.
