Overgrown
The lake has the potential to become a wonderful attraction but sadly lack of maintenance discourages visitors. We went for a walk around the lake with a dog after the man working there told us you can walk all of the way around however we found the tracks severely overgrown and eventually had to give up and turn back the way we came. Along the way you will find a few people fishing or picnicking by the lake but sadly the majority of visitors seem to think it is acceptable to leave all their rubbish behind so litter is strewn everywhere. If you are into birds, wildlife or fishing you may enjoy a visit here but unless someone takes control of this place and gives it the proper care and attention it needs I can sadly see it becoming a no go zone quickly.
