Fabulous experience :)

Also known as the Pamukkale Antique Pool, this natural wonder and UNESCO World Heritage site is located in the ancient city of Hierapolis. The warm mineral-rich “champagne water” that fills the pool sits just under 100°F and is believed to have therapeutic healing properties. Pay a fee on top of the price of admission and swim between ancient columns amongst the marble ruins. Visit in the mornings for fewer crowds, or cap off your day with a soak in the evening. There are change rooms, lockers to store your gear, and hotels in the area if you want to stay the night. – Tripadvisor

    Cleopatra Pools Pamukkale
The price for the pool is rather high. First you got to buy a ticket for the Pamukkale thermal pools and then for Cleopatra pools as well. There is no combined ticket offered (maybe from some tour agencies) Prices for foreigners Pamukkale thermal pools: 80 lira Cleopatra pools: 100 lira It is not allowed to take any electronic devices to the and take your own pictures, they got a photo service charging 60 lira for one picture (did not ask for discount if buying more since too expensive). From outside the pool you can of course take pictures, maybe the staff will tell you not to do that. In general the ticket is for single entrance only, but you can take like 10 minute breaks for drinking and toilet, just ask the staff when leaving the pool. The water temperature is pretty high, like 36-38 degree, so mind your swimming time. They recommend not to stay longer than 2 hours (at bathtub with same temperature it is recommended up to 20 minutes). Also there are not many shady places, only in the late afternoon or when there very early. The water quality is good, but there is a lot of moss swimming in the pool. Employees almost all the time remove some of it but seems not really effective. Pool is ideal for non swimmers and also has some deep places for swimming. But not for exercise, therefore the water is much too hot.

Worth doing, but don’t get your hopes up too high.
The pool is nice and warm, and the columns in it are very cool to see. However, it is crowded and very touristic. The area’s design clashes with the greco-roman aesthetic of the city and the overall impression is that of swimming in a theme park pool with some columns tossed in. Also, you can’t take your own photos (they want you to pay for the photo service), so don’t expect to get some amazing shots for the ‘gram. Honestly I would doubt you could get very good photos anyway - it’s too steamy. I recommend you think of it as a nice break to soak your sore feet after seeing Pamukkale and Heiropolis rather than a must-see destination.
