Historical Treasure
We spent an afternoon leisurely looking over the authentic artifacts, displays and documents. We loved the history of the gold rush days. This roadhouse has an amazing story. The docent was friendly and gave us information on other places to visit while in Fairbanks specifically the large animal research center (my personal favorite). We did a self-guided walking tour of the outside implements used for the construction of the Alaska Highway. The roadhouse has overcome great odds to be a museum and is worth taking the time to see if you are in Delta Junction.

Free museum that is worth a look
It is free to visit and is full of artifacts and history of the area. The building itself has been moved two times but still reflects the character of the original roadhouses.

Historical Gem
Can't beat the history of this little cabin that has seen so much and been moved several times since it was built in 1905. Gives one a great appreciation for the modern conviences in our lives today. A must see while in Delta Junction.
