    Great beach in East Coast
We visited the beach in one afternoon in late autumn and fell for it. It is quite long and there is plenty of things to do there. The boardwalk is lined with interesting shops and restaurants like British fish and chips, exotic tea leaves, halal kabob, lobster tails, etc. Reheboth Beach has definitely a character that would set it apart from nearby Ocean City. Parking is a hassle, be prepared to make several rounds before you can grab one. Other than Reheboth Avenue, there are lot of side streets that offer parking. All of that is free once past summer and early Fall. Approach from Washington beltway is not direct or easy, requires driving through narrow country roads and taking many turns. All in all, you'll enjoy Reheboth Beach once you get past getting there and parking issues.

Good for a stroll and a boardwalk view
Went down to the beach in November for this first time all year due to the Pandemic. Was glad to find the beach nearly empty. We were able to comfortably stroll along the sand, listening to the waves break on the shoreline. We saw some birds, sandpipers and seagulls. It was not a warm day since it was in November, so we did not sunbathe or swim. During the summer months, we have found this beach to be overly crowded, so we don't usually go here to swim in the summer. (Plus there is no true bath house & parking is by metered spots that is a good walking distance from the ocean). However, in the shoulder seasons, it can be a nice place to take a stroll. During the summer we enjoy the view from the boardwalk of the beach and dolphins swimming in the water. Beach sand is pretty soft but there are some pebbles. Not really a good place to hunt seashells though as most get busted up by the pounding of the surf. Overall, this is a nice beach for a stroll or sunbathing. I am not fond of it for swimming due to having to lug your beach supplies blocks to the boardwalk, paying the meters and the rough surf. The rip currents can be bad and there are jetties to watch for when you swim. The beach is patrolled by lifeguards during the summer months. The one plus is that food stands are literally steps from the beach. Sunrise view is beautiful.
