The Museum of Art - DeLand, Florida, is a vital and interactive non-profit community visual arts museum dedicated to the collecting, preservation, study, display and educational use of the fine arts. In addition to the permanent collection, the Museum is host to several new exhibits, gallery talks and receptions, educational programming, master artist workshops and special events throughout the year. Stately Museum
This is a small, fairly intimate museum with two floors. One exhibit was pairing permanent collection paintings and prints with poems and then voting for your favorite. The cashier was engaging and asked which one I voted for and why. Upstairs were additional permanent collection artworks which which piqued my interest.

Very Nice.
We finally found the time to visit the museum downtown Deland. It’s very nice, well laid out, and a great exhibit when we visited. We love the interesting and well stocked store on street level. Great gift ideas. We will be back. Where else can you finds better way to spend $5. Enjoy.
