Traditional village museum brought to life
Thoroughly enjoyed being shown how life used to be in the region of Damaraland ...very informative and enthusiastic guides. Well worth spending and hour or more here especially if you are staying at Camp Kipwe as it is barely 4km away. We did the traditional village life and bushwalk package. Thoroughly enjoyed the singing and dancing too ... even a rendition if happy birthday by two lovely ladies when they heard it was my birthday....thank you everyone

45 min well spent
An interesting look at the way Damara tribe traditional people live. The guide spoke good English so we were able to understand the explanations, the demonstrations of the differents aspects of the local tribe day to day were interesting and local singing and dancing were fun. Taking into consideration it supports the local community we would recommend a visit if you're in the neighborhood..

Very Interesting!
Used a local guide for a tour. A full tour would be a bit long, so we did highlights. To some extent participants seemed to be going through the motions, but it was still very educational. Especially enjoyed the "healer" explaining the various natural items she uses in their language that includes five different "clicks" in place of some words.
