Not to be missed if you're in Mora

We did not know anything about this marvelous painter, Anders Zorn. We found out that he painted portraits of several American presidents that are hanging in the White House. Be sure to schedule a guided tour of his house that is impeccably beautiful for after you visit the museum and Zorn's beautiful paintings. The grounds are lovely, too. Zorn's wife left their wealth to the posterity of the grounds, museum, and home. What a wonderful gift to all of us!

    Great tribute to a great artist
    Zorn’s life and development are lovingly curated at this museum. His talents in multiple art forms are clear for everyone to see. The accompanying texts are delightfully written: concise yet with good humour. We wrapped it up with the 45min video in the cellar, but you may just as well begin there.

    A well organised museum offering a good overview of Anders Zorn's life and production. Well worth a visit
