Pokemon Go and a nice walk
It's July so there's no skiing for us. The mix of hiking trails close to the various skiing areas offers a nice mix variety of paths suitable for inexperienced and serious hikers. There are also plenty of trails suitable for cross country and downhill cyclists. But that's got nothing to do with how we ended up in Hundfjallet today. As regular Pokemon Go players we've been shocked at the lack of pokestops and absence of gyms in Lindvallen. Hundfjallet more than made up for this with at least 5 gyms and 10 stops starting in the car park and then winding up through the entertaining Trollskogen. Trollskogen has numerous carvings, displays and decorated trees. Many are troll based with fun scenes and some audio (Swedish only). In the winter this would be fun for kids and big kids to ski down. If you've ever skied in the Björnen area of Åre then you'll have some idea of what to expect. Whilst the area is very quiet at this time of year there is a waffle cafe at the foot of the trail that is open until 4.00 p.m.

Nice in the summer too
We went for a walk up and down the Troll-path with our 2yo. Mixed success as some of the trolls were apparently a little frightening, and the walk was a bit long for her. Our 12yo instead walked up the mountain and back down and were quite happy with that. All in all a quite good adventure for all of us.
