Pretty Plaza
The plaza Independencia is right in front of the Park Hyatt Hotel on Calle Chile. It is only a couple of square blocks and to me, looks prettier at night when it’s illuminated. To note is that right in front of the Park Hyatt, on the Plaza Independencia side of Calle Chile, are all of the Hop On/Hop Off Mendoza City Tour buses.

Good market
The plaza independencia is a nice place to go with its waterfall. I was there on day of independance and the water was blue. There is a nice market on Satutday and Sunday evenings where I bought home made steak knives, bags and pottery for good prices
