we walked down to the Lough it was so beautiful and peaceful i would love to be able o fish down here one day!

tranquil overnight stay with beautiful sunset and scenery
I stayed at the lochside campsite - it had all the facilities and was good value - I arrived late after a delay due to a motorway closure and they were very accommodating - very good

Good spot, huge potentials to be better
The owner Tommy was an absolute gent, his gruff sidekick Boris needs some communication skills lessons. Site was very clean but the toilet / shower scenario is for only the bravest of the brave. Portaloos should be emptied daily and power hosed inside ). Site was clean otherwise. Big bonus is they allow a real camp fire, a must for those camping. 5 mins drive to Virginia where you can pick up everything you need.
