Çorum Muzesi, Corum Province, Turkiye

4.5 (124 reviews) Spent < 1 hour Ranking #1 in Corum Speciality Museums

Historical building, contemporary designed museum

Open air presented (biblical) byzantian objects, (pagane) hitit objects, (islamic) seljuk objects... different civilizations in the same land in different eras. Inside is quite contemporary, well curated, designed for handicaps thru motorized stairs. Ethnografic hall is a nice experience thanks to traditional soundtrack..

    Well done
The museum was surprisingly well done for a city of this size. It was very informative. The displays were interactive. Well designed for all ages. A lot of history and culture from the Hittite civilization. The ethnographic section was interesting, too, especially the leblebi display. The museum staff were all very friendly and helpful.
