Copan Ruins
This visit is included in the ticket you pay at the entrance of the Copan Ruins Archaeological Park and there are things like the mummies and jewlery between others that you can't find at the park.

Wonderful Museum
Great museum located in a historic building on the North corner of the Central Park. Exhibitions include some great examples of stone sculpture, wonderful examples of the famous - intricate " eccentric flints " & a series of amazing pottery incense container covers with images in 3 dimensions of some the most famous rulers of Copan - including the now famous sculpted image of Yax Kuk Mo with " goggles " - these are some of the finest and most artistic pieces of pottery made during the Classic Period of Copan. All together the pieces exhibited in this small, recently renovated museum are some of the best and most artistically executed found to date in Copan and makes the Maya come alive in ways that are not easily seen in the ruins and the large Sculpture Museum.
