Lakeview Outfitters is a small guide owned and operated business that truly cares about your experience, we strive to provide the best service possible! We are excited to offer half day and full day fly fishing trips on the Kenai river and surrounding waters. The Kenai is a world class river, with wonderful opportunities for trout, char and salmon. Beginning anglers can enjoy a day learning to fly fish with expert instruction and an expert angler will surely find plenty to enjoy in this unique fishery. We also offer rod and wader rentals with a supply of great flies and tackle for the DIY angler. Not a fisherman but still want to see the river? We also do scenic river tours! Float 8 miles Of the beautiful Upper Kenai River in a comfortable 20’ drift boat with padded seats. Snacks and stemware provided (bring your own wine). Due to COVID 19 we are not mixing any parties, should you choose to book, you will enjoy a private boat for you and your party.

So much fun!
Booking was so easy and personalized to our needs. Loved fishing with the shop owner who worked hard for us and really knows the river well. I learned so much about bead fishing which was the goal of our trip. We caught 10+ fish in 1/2 day float. The boat was super stable and guide did a great job of putting the fish in front of us. I wish catching fish was always this easy! I typically get tired fast and this was a very doable trip for me. Can’t wait to go again next summer.

Kenai river fishing- must do!
We had an absolutely amazing day out with Phil- definitely a family vacation memory we won’t forget. None of us had fished ( 2 adults, a 13yr old and 10yr old), and Phil got us going right away catching fish in the first 15min! We kept learning along the way and everyone had a blast. It’s a stunning ride down the Kenai river, lots of fish and beautiful views. We were able to catch and release trout and gave sockeye salmon a try as well. My husband and kids fished most of the time, and I really enjoyed just floating down the river taking it all in. Totally recommend going out with Lakeview, we will be back for sure.
