Wondeful trail - and treated by a serene reservoir surrounded by the mountains!
We hiked the Sawmill Trail up from Breckenridge, following under one of the ski lifts for a bit. Suddenly you pop out to amazing vistas of the Sawmill Reservoir! Easy to walk all the way around, taking in the beauty and (for us on this day) the calm waters. We sat for an hour and watched a kayak class learn. People were picnicking and generally just enjoying the beauty of this mountain reservoir. One of our highlights!

Beautiful Hike to a Reservoir Gem
We hiked the Sawmill Creek Trail and ended up at this gorgeous reservoir. Two fly fishermen standing on the sand bar - flat calm mirror like lake water. Picturesque and stunning.
