Red Rocks was awesome! The concert was amazing too.
Red Rocks is such a natural beauty - it is worth the difficult climb to make it to the Amphitheater. Be prepared for a steady uphill climb to get to the top but well worth it. Beautiful pics of the whole surrounding area from the top. There is also an interesting museum that shows you all the famous musicians who played there which is just about anyone you have ever heard of. We went one day to walk around and were able to get tickets for a concert a few days later. The concert was awesome and the ambience and acoustics were amazing. Check their website for showings so you can hopefully get tickets in advance. There are a lot of 3rd party websites that come up when you search and we found that they charge double to triple for the same seat so beware and buy directly from Red Rocks site. We sat in General admission about half way up and that was perfect!!

Sunrise magic to music magic
On the day of our concert, we woke up early because we heard that this was an amazing place to see the sunrise and all those recommendations were completely spot on. It is magnificent and we didn't even do a hike around. Later that evening after a little rain, My friend and I got to experience The Chicks concerts that had more soul than a typical music venue. We are already planning the next time we can fall under the magical spell of these Red Rocks.
