Nice Soak in the Hot Springs
Located between Aspen and Vail, you'll find the World's Largest Hot Springs Pool. The Ute Indians called it Yampah, meaning "big medicine." Soothe your muscles after outdoor activities year round. The large pool is kept at a comfortable 90°- 93° F and the smaller therapy pool averages about 104° F. Additional amenities include a lodge, spa, athletic club, grill and shopping. Relieve muscle and joint pain, or just relax and feel the wonder of a soak in our hot springs. Soaking in hot, highly concentrated mineral water has many health benefits. Increasing body temperature helps the body naturally kill harmful germs and viruses, eliminate toxins, and increase blood flow. The essential minerals gives the body a natural boost. You will feel the difference within minutes of stepping in. Jump in the large pool, at over 400 feet long, and "cool down." Swim laps or practice your form on the diving board. Bring your own cooler and snacks, or stop by the poolside Grill to grab a bite.

A must do in Glenwood Springs
After leaving Monument Valley we made a beeline for Glenwood Springs to experience the hot pools, the visit did not disappoint! Its quite pricy to get in, however you can revisit the pools all day if needed as part of the initial entry fee. The pools are brilliant, the hot pool wow its incredible how hot the water is, I could only last about 15 mins in there, its great how you can feel the hot water direct from the earth come up thru the vents! The main pool is also fab, nice and warm, a great spot to float about for an hour or so. Please note that some parts of the hot springs are not open during the week, this is reflected in the entrance cost and did not detract from our experience.

Amazing But Pricey
The springs always help relax sore muscles after a day of skiing and are a winter tradition for me and my family. After 6:00 pm they reduce the price to $25 but it is still steep for a 1-2 hour soak (it is all day access). The springs are huge, rarely busy, and have variable heat areas. It is nice because you can soak in hot and then go to a cooler pool for a while. This last time I was completely rejuvenated from 2 hours in the waters. Definitely recommend just be ready to pay a bit.
