Good place to see elk in summer & fall
Great views of lake and mountains. Full of people in summer and weekends. Easy, flat trail around lake, near downtown Evergreen & restaurants. Can rent boats, paddle boats. I've seen paddle boards. Stocked with fish, fishing year round. Smooth surface for ice skating. Picnic area, next to golf course. Elk often swim in lake.
