Breathtaker Alpine Coaster - Awesome!
We had the opportunity to ride the new Alpine Coaster this year and it was amazing. It is actually a really good coaster. You are in a luge-like sled and it brings you up the mountain and then you get up to pretty decent speeds going down. You can regulate your speed with a break, so this is also great for young kids and those who are not as into fast coasters. The views are breathtaking. We did three runs on a 14 degree day - just be sure to bundle up. For families with kids, you also can tack on tubing for $10, which is right near the coaster. The hill is pretty small, so it is great for little ones. Both the coaster and tubing are great for those who may not want to ski or are taking a break from skiing. Highly recommend both!

First ski trip ever
Snowmass Village was the perfect place for our family of 7 to experience skiing for the first time! The beginner’s run (Meadows) is up on Smowmass mountain vs being at the base which is a fun plus. Very good restaurant for lunch there also. The covid precautions were very strictly enforced throughout the Village and mountain. Aspen Snowmass has fabulous ski instructors who were very attentive and great at assessing our readiness for moving on to attempt greens and blues. Many restaurants and shops to visit during your stay along with a free shuttle around town. Highly recommend!
