Spectacular Sunsets
One of our favorite places to be! White powder sand, clean, well maintained and clear water. On this visit we enjoyed 4 nights walking at sunset, each different and beautiful! One night was watching a thunderstorm with lightning lighting up the shoreline ( from our balcony). Clearwater has great sidewalks and a huge selection of restaurants just a few steps away.

Beautiful sand, can be busy but beach is very wide
Can be busy but beach is very wide. Parking can also be expensive, has gone up considerable since 2 years ago. Restauants are a bit of a tourist trap. Good for people taking a week in a local hotel but otherwise best avoided during the weekend. Drive over the bridge is very slow. Can take 15 to 20 minutes to get from Clearwater to the Beach

Nice stroll along gorgeous beach
After two hours on the beach swimming and sunbathing, we paid an extra parking hour to take a walk. It was getting cloudy so it wasn't that hot. The path runs by many hotels, cafes, restaurants and beach shops and there's also a small park in the middle.
