Wonderful

The queue was dreadful and long as usual for China. But besides that the sight of Wulong and it’s surrounding was bizarre!

This path reminds me of the ancient Chinese song namely High Mountain, Flowing Water (高山流水)
I took a day tour, which include three gorges and this place. As per tour guide, going to the place should take thr bus no.1-2. I took no.1. When I got off the bus, I just went into the entrance in front of me but some people walked to the different side with me (to the left-handed side after getting off the bus). Then, i found out that it was the way to the elevator, but mine was stairs, all the way down to the bottom. They were two different paths on different sides of mountains. Make sure which way way you want to go. At the bottom, the two paths will merge anyway. And, you may bring rain cloths (I wont recommend umbrellas) if you don't wanna get wet (not much).

Amazing accessible "Arches" in nature, a rarity in China
Opened in 2014, the Chinese have gone a long way in trying to keep this natural wonder natural yet allowing many people to enjoy without causing too much damage. This is a rarity in China. That being said, there are still many many things western conservationists would never allow: souvenir vendors, plastic umbrellas to shield visitors from water spray, photographer stations, etc- but considering these things are funding the preservation, it seems forgivable. And, the added walkways and railings help guests of all ages enjoy the steep and winding paths where they never could have before. Directions from Chongqing: Take train from Chongqing North station to Wulong. About 25 rmb/person. There is only one high speed (2 hours) option at 7am so i recommend booking early thru wechat. If you book at the station you probably will not get a seat and have to stand the whole way. The next train is a slow 4 hour ride and then the next is at 14:50 not allowing enough time to explore. Please get to the station early because it is huge and your train could be departing from the other side requiring you to take the public bus (i think #663) or pay a scooter driver to take you. Once you arrive Wulong, avoid the taxis and walk straight across the road to the shuttle buses. You will see signs above. Just board a bus and the driver will get on and collect fees, 10 rmb/person! The bus will take you to the Wulong Karst tourist center in Xiannu town which is a big white pyramid looking building. Security check, food hall and tickets can be purchased here. 2 options: Longshuixia alone (see photo for 2019 prices, about 80rmb for entrance, 35 for the shuttle between three bridges and longshuixia) or with Three Bridges (70 rmb plus 15 for the elevator) Go down to bottom level and board a tour bus to the sites. First stop is the Three Bridges entrance. Since this is the way I did it, I am not sure if Longshuixia is the very next stop? But I think it is. First stop has a bunch of clothing vendors (weather here can be sticky hot or humid cold so maybe grab a hat/scarf) and snack vendors (you will need water). Once you finish Three Bridges (see my other review)- you will exit to a parking lot where you can either take the electric shuttle to the Longshuixia bus depot or hike the way. It isn't that far. The bus depot type area has food vendor booths all selling the exact same foods, yummy soy noodles, skewers of meat, etc. Grab a quick bite here before boarding the next bus to Longshuixia. After your hike thru Longshuixia, remember to get your free keychain photo (taken on the path), grab a water from the vendors and board the bus back to the tourist center. There are other buses to Three Bridges and fairy mountain etc, so make sure to ask and get on the right one. You will take so many beautiful pictures so I only included ones that relate to what I wrote above Enjoy!
