Winter wonderland

Its seemed as if I was in the game of thrones or Narnia. A must visit, take good snow boots, gloves if you visit in winter. You can also go skiing.

    Beautiful Place
    Visited here to attend the first Chongqing Electro Music Festival that took place near the camping area on top[ of this mountain, so I didn't get the chance to explore fully, but I would like to come back again to see more! Easy to get to, just take a bus from the new Sidongli bus station (if you read other reviews that tell you get the bus from Chaotianmen they are out of date) to Wulong City then transfer to the mountain bus. The drive up the mountain takes you on a hair raising drive on a road that snakes it way to the mountain top. Entrance to the scenic area is only 60RMB and then you are free to explore, camp or whatever. It is a huge area and very beautiful, it deserves to be seen.

    grassland in 2000m mountain
    Now, by car start from Chongqing city to Wulong city is about 2 hours, then on to Wulong Tourism Center is another 30 min, then on 10 mins to Fairy mountain ticket counter to get a ticket at 60 yuan per pax. 20 min more to reached to top where there is a ticket selling center for you to take a ride of the little train to bring one round will bring you to grassland field next to horse riding and back about 1.5 hours. You may walk but it takes 2.5 hours to complete. In the mountain there are a few hotels you may chose to stay in so you have more time in the mountain to enjoy. There is a indoor snow ski and a outdoor snow ski ( during winter time ). Need to pay for it. this place is excellent. There is a playground and shooting field as well. My suggestion is to stay there for 2 full day.
