Seafront palace of King Rama V
This historical place is ample and serene. Suitable for relaxing, wandering around, enjoying the view of Gulf of Thailand, and taking some photos. No wonder King Rama V built his palace here! Pity that museum and cafe were closed at the time we visited due to Covid pandemic.

Summer palace of King Rama V, only palace in Thailand located on an island
It's a very nice palace of King Rama V, a rehabilitation place for the royal family at that time. Now it becomes a museum, exhibiting the history of the place and King Rama V and his family. There is a temple which looks like a church on the hill, a statue of King Rama V, a pagoda, a stone which sounds like a bell when you hit it, several ponds, bridges, and 4 buildings, scattering on the hill and down to the seaside. Very charming and highly recommended to visit. You should prepare to walk for quite a long way to admire everything there and usually it would take a few hours. There is a small coffee house there where you can sit, relax, and enjoy watching the sea after the walk, as well as a long, beautiful bridge leading to the pier. Complimentary entrance, no admission fee. Closed on every Monday.
