Fantastic round island boat trip with Dave.
We visited Alderney for 5 nights earlier in May staying in the Braye Beach Hotel. During the stay apart from some lovely coastal walks around the island we had a fantastic boat trip on Avante skippered by Dave. It was a complete round island trip and we saw lots of puffins and gannets which were roosting in the small islands off of Alderney. Dave skilfully navigated the various tidal channels surrounding the island and shared his extensive knowledge of the sea birds and the history of the various defensive forts and bunkers dotted around the coastline. In summary, a safe and very enjoyable trip and one I would strongly recommend to others visiting this lovely island.

Great boat trip around the island of Alderney
Highly recommend a round the island trip with Dave on Avante II, myself and 4 mates really enjoyed it. He is very welcoming and is full of local knowledge and history, telling interesting stories and pointing out places of interest all along the way. The 2 hour trip took in the puffins at Burhou, a close-up of the Gannet rocks and amazing views of the varied and fascinating coastline and wildlife on this lovely island.

Brilliant afternoon around the coast of Alderney
Dave was so informative about Alderney life and its history. We had such a lovely 2 hour boat trip round the island, and would thoroughly recommend an Avante boat trip for any visitors to Alderney... The island coastline is stunning, 1000s of gannets, and a peregrine falcon!
