    Interesting place with so engaged Staff!
    Highly recommend this place. We visited it with my husband, young kid and a teenager interested in history. They have large collection of banknotes and coins. The Staff is professional, helpful and eager to tell you whatever they know. For all people who are interested in Montenegro's history is a "must-visit" place.

    Montenegrin currencies over the past century
    Found out about the museum from the Montenegro Airline in-flight magazine on our flight to Tivat! For some reason it is not mentioned in Lonely Planet or Marco Polo travel guides! Not easy to find in Cetinje as not all the buildings were numbered in the street. Very interesting museum, and we found out about the Perper, and saw the coin pressing machine in action. Had not appreciated all the different currencies used. Quiet, no one else there when we visited.
