Inspiring people, cool and sustainable projects in beautiful surroundings!
The Social Innovation Museum is a unique place that will inspire you to want to change the world. Social Innovations are dynamic and living, thereby you will see how they happen and be able to interact with our Social Innovators from the Social Innovation Academy (SINA). Scholars will give you a free tour (tips towards the museum encouraged) and tell you their story, what they are working on and show you our 25 social enterprises and innovations. Some highlights are our upcycled buildings from plastic bottles and the beautiful hill where we are located. We also offer specific workshops (e.g. upcycling plastic bottle construction) and training in social innovation with our facilitators from the Social Innovation Academy (SINA).

Go there!
It is definitely worth the trip to Mpigi! Our Ambassador, Sheilah, an inspiring young social entrepreneur, gave us a tour of SINA and introduced us to beneficiaries of the various programs. The concept, the people, the structure in place there are so groundbreaking and thought through at the same time that no one will leave this site without a smile on the face. We shared our lunch with members of the community and could continue our conversations for a while longer. Off the beaten tracks and simply fantastic! Thanks for hosting us!

The Entrepreneurs supported here are amazing!
We had a wonderful visit to the companies supported by SINA. We learned so much about innovative entrepreneurs working to create jobs in Uganda and to address issues of the environment and to support better healthcare and people living with disabilities. We highly recommend a visit to see the work and purchase some products. Stella and Etienne were extremely helpful and engaging with sharing about how the program started, how entrepreneurs are selected and trained, and how businesses are supported as they grow. I would like to bring my university students from the USA to visit and learn about all the good that is going on here.
