Golden age paintings
The construction of the house was finished in 1813. The design has influences from both Rococo and Gustavianism, Swedish neo-classicism. As a combination of architectural styles the Roos House is one of a kind in Finland. In here you can see how the Roos family lived. Karl Herman Renlund's art collection in the 2nd floor consists of approximately 50 works from the Golden Age of Finnish Art.

Fine art museum in the city of Kokkola
I think house must be the most beatiful house in Kokkola if you stay in town you hawe to see it.In Roos House's upstairs exhibition tells of life in Kokkola during the city's flourishing during the 19th century. Roos house builder was Andreas Roos (1785-1842). Here is interesting to visit because of the changing exhibitions whit,s have different themes.
