A must for History enthusiasts

A very well maintained historical building with lots of beautiful artifacts on display the staff were very helpful leaving you to wander around at your own pace but on hand for any information..there is also an app which you are able to access giving detailed information whichever area you are in...if you climb to the top there is a magnificent 360° view of the city.. this is most definitely worth a visit for all history lovers The entrance fee is €3 per person It closes at 3pm daily and if your visiting from the UK you will need to show your Covid passport and ID..

The White Tower - Thessaloniki's most famous landmark!
A magnificent building, a monument, a museum and a landmark for the beautiful city of Thessaloniki! It houses exhibits and audiovisuals that tell the history of the city. On the last floor there is a terrace from which you can enjoy a fantastic view of the town. The entrance fee is 3 euros (in December 2022). Do not visit it if you are claustrophobic!

Tower with a great view.
The Tower has small exhibitions on each floor all in Greek. Guides are available online in different languages. When you reach the top of the tower you are greeted with fantastic views of the city and sea. Worth a visit and a great stop to just relax and enjoy the surrounding area.
