Greek Pharmacy Museum
We had a lovely tour this morning with the curator of the museum. He is very passionate about preserving the history of pharmacy in Greece and his detailed descriptions added to the experience. We did find the place rather obscure and not easy to find since we are not able to read Greek very well. The address in Google maps is correct and I will attach a photo of the exterior. Inside is a wonderful display of pharmaceutical artifacts from Greece and around Europe. Most spectacular is the large donated bench and cabinet. There are many different tools and old bottles to peruse as well as books and certificates. It takes about 1 hour or so with the guide to hit the highlights. If you’re interested in medicine, it’s a great place for a quick visit.

A really ‘must see’ museum!!! It takes you back in time and you discover how an old pharmacy used to operate. You learn about the evolution of the Greek pharmacy and the importance of the pharmacist profession. Really good for science lovers PLUS the entrance is for free!!! Even if you are into Pharmacy / Medicine is for sure not mindblowing, but overall its worth to take a look if you like it!!!
