Blast of Bubbles

Turtle Trail Art Gallery is a dream come true. Its a 1930 cracker store with a cracker house next door. Hi, Im Nancy B, 7th generation on this island. As a child i used to dream about living there so after 4 decades of being an oysterwoman I now live there and that cracker store is now my gallery. In my gallery u will discover why I left the water. My true callings, chainsaw art and photography. Each turtle I sculpt bears the name of the person who perchased the one before. Everything here is a one of a kind oridignal. I do take custom orders. Also we have my nieces decoupage shells and my cousins cedar bowls and pens. Its a family business. And thats what its all about right, family. Twice a week ( call for res) I also hold Artist At Heart. This is where we gather togetheer in my yard and paint a wood cutout of a turtle, shark or some other critter. NO PHOTOGRAPHY PLEASE. Thats my part. I get to capture ur joy and fun. Come share the love and let ur talent show

An authentic slice of Cedar Key
What a treasure this gallery is - filled with Nancy's wood carvings and photography. Outside in the garden there are many plants for purchase and more found art. And you'll always find bubbles!! Make it a point to stop in and talk to Nancy and see her two tortoise mascots - Cedar and Key. This is what Cedar Key is all about....at it's best.

Unique Wood Carving and Beautiful Photography
We were in Cedar Key for a few days to kayak and explore. This particular day was too windy to be out on the water so we were walking to an old railroad trestle and came across this gallery. The owner and artist was there to greet us and describe her works. The wood carvings are from wood she personally collects and then carves what she sees and all very unique. Her photos capture some incredibly beautiful scenery and wildlife in and around Cedar Key and it just so happens that the owner/artist is a 7th generation Cedar Key resident which means a wealth of knowledge about the area. IT was well worth a visit!
