This entire church is decorated by the young artist Jesus Mateo, and you may enter as part of a guided tour around town. Extremely interesting!

Amazing original art in stunning location
It was the only church I could go into, in Alarcón, without booking on the twice daily tour, that would only be in Spanish. For 3 euros I got to see the most amazing modern style art, covering all the walls and ceilings. Best money spent in a long time. Could have sat looking at for ages, but for non arty husband outside, but did study and drink them in. Very colourful and a bit weird but unique and so suited the church interior. Certainly bears comparison to a modern Sistene Chapel. Was lucky to enjoy almost on my own.

very unique
the entire place was covered with the unique murals...the artist was powerful and unique!.. Just sit down and absorb the wonder... I felt that I was looking at art done by Picasso's brother..
