Beautiful little gem in Toledo
We stumbled upon this little gem as we walked thru Toledo. This old, Jewish purification bath is below a souvenir shop. The owner lets you go down, if you buy something. He is so wonderful and will tell you about the history of the well. It is a one of a kind, and Jews from all over the world come to see it. Truly a rare find in beautiful Toledo. Definitely worth it!

Magic
This is such a great place to visit! I love it! It is inside a souvenir store and the owners are so special, it is a nice place with a lot of history. Is a must if you go to Toledo. It´s history is amazing and it is a gem that you need to see. If you can, please do buy something on the store ;)

Easy to miss, as its the basement of a Souvenir shop
A new attraction, and a relatively recent discovery. About 30 feet below street level under the Souvenir shop is a water cistern. "wish well" is not a good description. Some suggest it MAY have been a Jewish ritual bath? But, it may only be an Aljibe, a water tank. Worth the visit, buy a 2€ fridge magnet, and ask to see the well, too.
