Best in the country!

If you are looking to shop out in Morocco beyond its traditional stuff, this mall is a one stop solution for all. Its grand, and has plenty of options to shop from, branded and local. There are a good number of eateries inside as well, so a day long trip also is worth its while.

    Fountains make this mall
The Morocco Mall is as it states, it’s full of a variety of shops, some in a higher price range. There is a Marjane supermarket and some good places to eat and drink (no alcohol). There is a huge aquarium to visit which is quite a focal point inside and outside there are regular fountain displays which are wonderful, especially at night. It’s clear that the pandemic has taken its toll on the mall as some great shops have closed down. The only thing that does bother me is that the last time I went to this mall, Feb 2020, the escalators from the lower parking were broken and they still are! I don’t know if they were fixed and then broke again but seriously, just fix them. Warning - the parking is great but if you want to make your life easy, make sure you have change for the machines to pay for parking. The notes aren’t always accepted and trying to get change from anyone is nearly impossible.

    Ok but not that good
I went here on a Saturday morning it was very quiet. It’s like any big shopping center with high end brands like Rolex, Fendi, Dior, Emporio Armani, plus a mix of general brands. The supermarché is huge & good to buy some supplies. I sat upstairs by a window to see the fountain outside & look at the sea & had the most expensive cafe nous nous I have drunk on my whole trip - 29DH - WHAT?!!! Anyway, moving on… I could see there are several cafes/restaurants outside down the bottom overlooking the coast & I assume the prices would match my very expensive coffee. The aquarium is nice to look at and there was a scuba diver cleaning the glass so that was interesting. Overall, if you want to shop expensive brands & drink expensive coffee, go for it! Or if you need to kill some time or need an escape to somewhere a bit nice & quiet this will suit, other than that I was not that excited about this experience.
