Overly touristy
We visited on a Saturday morning before this colorfully painted neighborhood was too busy and street vendors were still setting up their booths. As we walked the streets, we were amazed by how many shops and souvenir stores there were inside most of the buildings in addition to those in the streets. As we finished our stroll, buses had arrived bringing lots of tourists to the area.

FUN, FUN, FUN
So colorful! many Instagram able places here. You can't help but be happy. It is crowded and touristy for a reason. There are many souvenir shops as well as authentic artisans...a bit pricey as you'd expect in a top tourist location. This was an original stop for immigrants moving to BA, the many colors are due to the fact they used left over paint and only had enough for one section of a building.
