A must Visit in Zurich

This prominent 13th-century Gothic cathedral is perhaps best known for one of its more recent additions, stained-glass windows designed by Marc Chagall in the 1970s.

    Beautiful windows
Unlike most churches, this one is not free to visit. There are wonderful Chagall windows at the back of the church that you can sit and enjoy. You get an audio guide that explains the background of each window which was quite interesting. The history of the church is quite interesting with the 2 sisters and therefore reflected in the name of the church. I would recommend just taking your time and take your numerous pictures and enjoy the beauty of the church. We enjoy the small crypt as well below the church. Enjoy

Without a fee it would be 4 stars
I always deduct one star for Churches that put in place the entrance fee. Places of worship in my opinion should be free for everyone. However, they calculated they could gain extra income due to Chagall's stained glass which decorate the interiors. Fraumunster is Zurich's oldest Church dating back to 11 cent. It is distinctive by its elegant tall spire with clocks. The interior is much alike other Zurich Churches, so I'd rate it 4 if there wasn't the 5 CHF entry fee.
