Very nice musem! Delicious restaurant!

As the world’s first museum devoted to food and nutrition, the Alimentarium has been exploring the many aspects of the human diet from a historic, scientific, and cultural point of view for over 35 years. Its permanent exhibition structured around three sectors, Food, Society, and the Body, provides a mine of valuable information on the topic. The Museum frequently runs culinary workshops, demonstrations, and tasting sessions, offering food lovers of all ages a unique and engaging hands-on experience.

    Very nice musem! Delicious restaurant!
While I was hesitant at first, I went in not knowing what to expect from the 'food museum' and I came out having had the most pleasant of surprises!. The museum is interactive, it really invites you to be curious, to play and discover about nutrition, how certain foods dominated in parts of the world at different times, and much more... Not to mention the super delicious food I had for lunch which was prepared by chefs at the museum's cafe. I highly recommend eating there. At the same time, beware! Do not start your visit to Alimentarium on an empty stomach!

Positive vibes with consciously made food
I like the restaurant and its adjacent kids’ play area. The food is made with consciously produced ingredients which is a great plus when taking our children out for a meal as we want to make sure they get the best nutrition despite our active life which doesn’t always allow for packed home made food . Having said that, the museum could have a bit more sensory play experiences for toodlers age 1-4. I do find it a little monotonous for my children at this stage of their lives so I’d only go to the museum part when they Are able to make the most out of their listening and reading skills .
